One task involves a string of polaroids pinned to the wall — three photos are missing from the set, and you need to track them down before the story moves forward. Two of them are easy enough to spot, but the third hides in plain sight in a way that catches most players off guard.

All three missing polaroids are tucked into different corners of Rockford's bedroom. None of them require solving a puzzle or completing a minigame — you just need to know where to look. Here's each location broken down.

The first polaroid is sitting on the bedside table next to Rockford's bed, where it's being used as a bookmark sticking out of a book. This is the same table where the tape player sits — the one connected to the kissing minigame. Scan the table and you'll spot it quickly.

Interact with the tape player on the bedside table while you're here. It triggers one of the game's more memorable minigame moments before you move on.

The second polaroid is pinned up on Rockford's wardrobe, mixed in with the other photos already stuck there. The wardrobe sits right next to a pinboard that has the trio's road trip planned out on it — Rockford, Cas, and Slater's summer route mapped in detail. Worth spending a moment on the pinboard for the commentary it provides on what the three of them had planned.

This is the one that trips people up. The third polaroid is sitting on top of a stack of books right beside the bookshelf, with a road sign propped up behind it. Critically, this stack is on the floor directly next to the polaroid string on the wall — the very spot you're standing when you're first given the task.

The interact prompt gets obscured by the surrounding objects, so it's easy to walk past it repeatedly while scanning the rest of the room.

Don't spend time searching the far corners of the room for this one. It's almost directly beneath the polaroid string on the wall, sitting low on the floor next to the bookshelf.

Once you've placed all three photos back on the string, the game triggers a memory sequence. The scene takes Rockford, Cassandra, and Slater back to a house party that gets shut down by police — and by Cassandra's father. The trio escapes by piling into a nearby shopping cart and riding it down the road before Cassandra's dad spots her.
